Ladies and Gentlemen, we read in the Bible that time and time again the People of God as a nation, got into trouble, realized that without God’s Sovereign Intervention they would perish, and Almighty God would answer their prayers and “reset” their lives. Once again our nation needs our “reset button” to restore us! We need to again BE ONE NATION UNDER GOD, with liberty and justice for ALL!
Heavenly Father, we turn our hearts towards You! We pray that You would hear our cries as we call out to You our Father and SEEK YOUR FACE, and not Your Hand. We want Your Supernatural Divine Intervention to HEAL OUR LAND!
We have seen the evidence that our Congressional leaders, our Senators, and even our President and his staff members have taken us “off course” from Your Ways of doing things here on earth. They have replaced our dependence upon You with complete control of our banking systems, our manufacturing companies, our health care systems, and even our educational finance systems all in the name of “progressive leadership”. Their agenda does not include any room for God’s Economy, God’s Provision, God’s Healing Power, God’s Redemption, nor God’s Ability to take care of His Creation.
Father God, we pray the prayer of faith that You Lord would speak to the hearts and minds of all our government representatives, both elected and appointed, and IMPROVE THEM to follow Your Ways or REMOVE THEM from the office that they now hold. Lord Jesus, we need a Spiritual Awakening in America and a revival in prayer! This we ask of the Father, believing in the Son, by the Power of the Holy Spirit, ONE GOD, now and forever more! Amen and Amen!
The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is Isaiah 58:1-2 & 9-14
"Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell My People their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins. Yet they seek Me daily, And delight to know My Ways, As a nation that did righteousness, and did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching God.
Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; You shall cry, and He will say, 'Here I AM!' If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness, and if you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, Then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday. The LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
Those from among you shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, the Restorer of Streets to Dwell in.
