Let us focus our prayers today on the positive confessions of our mouths that proclaim our faith. We can personalize these words of scripture and form them as our prayer:

Thank You Lord, that You are my Shepherd, and I shall not be in want of any good thing.

Thank You Lord, that You provide for me Your green pastures and Your still waters and You RESTORE my soul!

Thank You Lord, that You lead me in paths of Righteousness for Your Name’s sake. My steps are ordered of the Lord. Even though I may walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I WILL NOT FEAR anything evil will harm me or my family, because Your very Presence is with me!

Thank You Lord, for Your Rod of correction and Your Staff of instructions. They are a comfort to me.

Thank You Lord, that You have confidence to prepare a table before me in the very presence of my enemies. I believe that NO weapon formed against me will prosper and NO word spoken against me will come to pass.

Thank You Lord, for anointing my head with the Oil of Gladness! There is a melody in my heart and I can sing songs and hymns and spiritual songs, full of JOY unspeakable. Rejoicing in the fact that I AM a Child of God!

Surely Your Goodness and Your Mercies will surround me and follow me all of the days of my life!

Thank You Almighty God, that Your Word Promises me that I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever and ever – AMEN!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  Psalms 23:1-6

A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His Name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me ALL the days of my life; and I will dwell in the House of the LORD - FOREVER.

Amen and Amen!
