The message of God’s Word is strong and clear! Everyone can understand its meaning!

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!

Prayer is the means by which Almighty God has chosen to exercise His WILL here on the earth, just as it is in Heaven. Prayer establishes the appropriate conditions for the supernatural divine intervention into the circumstances of our lives.

Our Father in Heaven, we come into Your Presence once again in prayer – to Honor and Praise Your Holy Name! We call upon the Name that Jesus gave us to use whenever we approach You. Jesus gave us permission to call You “our Father”! Abraham did not call You ‘Father’, nor did any of the Old Testament saints, not even David. Only the disciples of Jesus can call You “our Father”!

Because of Blood sacrifice of Christ Jesus our Lord and our Savior, we have been adopted into the Family of God and may confidently proclaim our relationship with You as – Our Father!

Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is Mark 14:32-36  &  Matthew 6:7-13

Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, "Sit here while I pray."

And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed. Then He said to them, "My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch." He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him. And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will."

And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name.

Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever. Amen.

Ladies and Gentlemen, when we spend time in a relationship with someone, we say that we “know” that person. We recognize the sound of their voice on the telephone, we remember their facial features. We even have emotional reactions in our bodies with just their touch or embrace.

Jesus Christ is a person. He wants to have a relationship with each and every one of us! It was God who breathed the breathe of Life into our lungs and gave us all the Holy Spirit in order that we could communicate with Him.

We can with child like faith call Him “Abba! Father” and hear that spiritual response of “Yes, My child”!  We can honestly say “Jesus, I need You more today, than I have ever needed You before . . . . . . . Hear my prayer!”

Amen and Amen!
