Each year, for the past nine years, there has been a global celebration of a Day of Prayer on Pentecost Sunday. Here are two web sites for review:

World LINK =   http://www.globaldayofprayer.com/

During these times we encourage our readers and our listeners to participate with these concentrated efforts and come into AGREEMENT with these prayers. Please take the time to go to these web sites and find where there is an event near where you live. Consider making the time this Sunday to assemble your family and friends to pray together for our nation and this world.

Heavenly Father, You know all things! You know the condition of our country! You know the condition of each of our hearts! We cry out to You Oh Lord, HAVE MERCY UPON US! Forgive us of our sins of omission and commission. Father God, we have left undone those things that You have told us TO DO and we have done those things that You specifically told us NOT to do!

Lord Jesus, hear our cry and HEAL OUR LAND!  Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is John 20:20   &   Matthew 6:14

When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you." And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained."

"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

Ladies and Gentlemen, FORGIVENESS is the key to unlock the power of God’s LOVE!

Asking God for His Forgiveness, then repenting of our transgressions, is the only way to reconcile our relationship with our Heavenly Father. To become Christ-like in all that we say and all that we do, means that we must forgive others in exactly the same manner as we have been forgiven – unconditionally. It does not matter how great the sin against you has been. God knows the hurt, the heartache and the anguish or pain that those actions or words have caused you personally.

So settle this account right now and pray that the Lord our God would FORGIVE us:

Forgive us for NOT putting You and our relationship with You as the First and Foremost priority in our daily lives. Forgive us for ignoring Your Commandments! Forgive us for not trusting You Lord with all of our heart, all of our soul and all our strength. Forgive us for trying to accomplish things in our own strength and control. Forgive us for speaking harsh words and even curses to our family members and co-workers and even our church family members. Forgive us for not keeping our promises. Forgive us for not speaking Your Truth in love in all circumstances.

Now Lord, we bring the offenses that we have suffered from one another to the foot of Your cross. We lay down these hurts, resentments, this anger, these wounds, all of the sufferings from what people have said or done to us! We proclaim with our mouth what we believe in our heart – Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our inequalities, and by His stripes we are healed from the memories of these sins against us. Surely Jesus takes upon Himself our sorrows.

I have not suffered anything like what Jesus has suffered for my sake! Much has been forgiven me and I must likewise forgive others all of their offenses.

Thank You Lord for hearing our prayer. We know that You always hear our prayers.

Amen and Amen!
