There were thousands of people, both young and old, that attended the Empowered 21 conference in Tulsa Oklahoma. The word that was heard most often was “purity”. We were reminded of the need for personal purity for our prayers to be powerful. We are cleansed from our unrighteousness when we repent – stop doing things our way, turn around and accept the Redeeming Sacrifice of the Blood of the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.

Holy Father, Almighty God, Your Love came down from Heaven and Your Word was made flesh in the person of Christ Jesus our Lord!  We know that even while we were sinners – Christ died as the eternal ransom payment for all of our transgressions. Why should I receive any benefits of His Reward?  Why have I been given the “Gift” of Salvation? We know that because of His shed Blood that covers the “door posts” of our lives which is Your Righteousness through His Perfection, His Purity, and His sinless life in obedience to Your Word, I am made whole!  Thank You Jesus for saving my soul!  Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Ladies and Gentlemen, what we really deserve for these acts of disobedience to the Living God is eternal separation from fellowship with Him. What we have is a daily relationship with Almighty God who created Heaven and earth and ALL that is in the earth, including you and I. We read in the history books about monks and nuns that have taken a vow of poverty and isolated themselves from the people of this world to try their best to become holy. John the Baptizer was call to a life of isolation and being set apart from the rest of the world. Now after Jesus has come into this world we can embrace a relationship with Him. We can become just like Him! We can follow His example of how to live our daily lives. We can and should participate in this world just as if we are carrying on every conversation we have in the Presence of Almighty God. Whether we are in a restaurant, at a sporting event, in the market place, or on the job site – we know that Christ Jesus lives within us!

We must always SAY what Jesus would say to one another. We should attempt to do the things we do exactly like Jesus does with encouragement, compassion, and total trust and always speaking the Truth with His kind of Love for one another. Confidence is an amazing experience. When we know without any doubts, who we belong to and what we are suppose to be doing – nothing is impossible!

Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe?

Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have Peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Yes Lord, I do believe, please help me wash away my unbelief!

Amen and Amen!
