Today's Prayer Alert 04-09-2010

It is becoming more difficult in this country to find circumstances and events in which we can GIVE THANKS! The Bible encourages us to GIVE THANKS in all things, all circumstances, all situations for this is the “will” of God concerning you. (1Thessalonians 5:18  &  Psalm 107  &  Psalm 118  &  Psalm 136)

Lord Jesus, we believe that You have EVERYTHING under Your complete and total control. Jesus has conquered sin, death and the devil. We have Your Word and Your Promises of life eternal and the sure hope of our salvation. What we need is Your Help Lord. We want to SEE what You see in these events and circumstances in our daily lives. We want to SAY what You would say about the people we love and those people who are falsely accusing us and striving against us. Remind us all of Your Protection Lord Jesus and cover us with the whole armor of God. Strengthen us to Trust in the Lord with all of my heart, all of my soul, and all of my might. Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is    Ephesians 1:15-23

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every Name that is Named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

And He {Father God} put all things under His {Christ Jesus} feet, and gave Him {Jesus} to be Head over all things to the church {Universal}, which is His Body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all
