This is the fourth day of Holy Week. Jesus was teaching in the temple during the day and spending the nights on the Mount of Olives. It was during these days before His death, His burial, and His Resurrection, He knew that His Disciples would need something more than a strong will to face the waves of persecutions that were coming. Jesus was completing His assignment and was delivering the promises of God by providing His Holy Spirit to empower all of us that believe in Him.

Heavenly Father, we are presently facing things that require something more than a strong will to stand against the lies and deceptions of our enemies. We need the Spirit of Truth, to lead guide and direct us in the paths of Your Righteousness, Your Peace that passes all of our understandings, and Your JOY! Spirit of the Living Resurrected Lord Jesus, breath on us – let us be strong and of a good courage, knowing that Your Truth will set us free from the bondage and the consequences of all of sins. Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  John 15:1-27  & John 16:1-33

Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My Word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin.

He who hates Me {Jesus} hates My Father also.

But when the Helper {Holy Spirit} comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. These things I have spoken to you now that you should not be made to stumble {or go astray in the future}. They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.

And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father God nor Me {His Son}.

Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper {Holy Spirit} will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all Truth; for He will not speak on His own Authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will Glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father God has are Mine. Therefore I said that He {Holy Spirit} will take of Mine and declare it to you.

Make it so dear Lord, make it so!

Ladies and Gentlemen, these are the Words of our Lord and Savior Who cannot lie!

His disciples said to Him, "See, now You are speaking plainly, and using no figure of speech! Now we are sure that You know all things, and have no need that anyone should question You. By this we believe that You came forth from God."

Jesus answered them, "Do you now believe?

Indeed the hour is coming, yes, has now come, that you will be scattered, each to his own, and will leave Me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have Peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Amen and Amen!
