It happened on a Sabbath! Jesus had been invited to dinner at the home of a prominent leader. As the distinguished guests were finding their places, Jesus may have been watching as they “jockeyed” for the best seats at the table. Jesus might have given these directions – you should choose the lowest place at the table. Whoever exalts himself will be humble, and whoever humbles themselves will be exalted! Whoever would be greatest among you, should be like a servant, seeking to serve.
Lord Jesus, help us to take up our assigned places here on earth that You have purposed for our lives. We know that just to be present at Your Table is enough! Forgive us for trying to push ourselves to the top places and promote ourselves in other people’s sight.
Let Your Favor BE our children’s reward! We don’t ask for ourselves, however, we do pray that our children and our grand children will know You Jesus! They will know Your Mercies, Your Grace, Your Truth, Your Gift of Salvation & Eternal Life, and Your Great LOVE for us ALL! Amen and Amen!

Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers-not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the Crown of Glory that will never fade away. Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." (Proverbs 3:34)
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's Mighty Hand, that He may lift you up in due time.
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I would rather BE a keeper of the door, just to know the power of Your Presence Lord – To BE able to gain entrance, right into Your Holy Presence. Yes, I would rather BE a keeper of the door.
I would let the door swing wide – inviting everyone to enter – Shine His Light – Show the Way!
This is my Jesus – Look what the Lord God Almighty has already done for YOU!
Lord Jesus, we can confidently pray – Your Kingdom be established in our lives today and Your Divine Purposes be accomplished here on earth, just as it is in Heaven!
