Where are you today in your “walk” with the Lord?  Pastors, educators, missionaries, and good friends have all asked this question at one time or another. This thought process takes a mental inventory of our relationship with Almighty God. Have I been offended? Have I caused an offense? Have I forgiven those who have spitefully used me? Have I asked forgiveness from those that I have cause heartache or pain?  Is my heart filled with thanksgivings?  Is my mind renewed?  What are the things that I am hoping will happen?  What have I read in God’s Word that applies directly to my life?

Heavenly Father, we THANK YOU, for our Creation, our Preservation, and ALL of the Blessings of this Life. Above all, we THANK YOU for Your Love, which You have freely given to us through a relationship with Christ Jesus our Lord!  We THANK YOU for the sweet communion of prayer. We know that by the abiding Presence of Your Holy Spirit we have revelation knowledge and truth about all circumstances and events. We believe that Your Goodness and Your Mercies will follow us, everywhere that we go. We will fear NO EVIL! We will dwell in the House of the Lord FOREVER!

Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is   Psalm 23:1-6

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not be in want nor desire any good thing.

He makes me to lie down in His green pastures; He leads me beside His still waters.

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of Righteousness For His Name's sake.

Yes, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are always with me; Your rod of instructions and Your staff of corrections, they comfort me and help me to understand Your Ways.

You Lord, have prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You Lord, have anointed my head with oil of gladness; I am not depressed nor discouraged because when I think of You and all that You have done for me; My cup of my heart runs over and cannot contain all of Your Abundance towards me and my family. I am truly overwhelmed by Your Love for me.

Surely Your Goodness and Your Mercy shall follow me ALL of the days of my life; And I will dwell, take up permanent residence in the House of the LORD, FOREVER!

Amen and Amen!
