Here is a news report that is “interesting” to read: Last week a top United Nations climate change official resigned after only four years. There are 193 nations that are due to meet in Mexico for another attempt to reach “ a worldwide agreement on controlling greenhouse gases”.

Imagine these people that do not believe that GOD Created the Heavens and the earth that are attempting to make us all abide by their controls on God’s Creation! What are they thinking? Could this be a modern day version of the tower of Babylon? The first one brought about only confusion and separation.

Heavenly Father, we are Your People! We know that EVERYTHING that we have comes from YOU! Naked I came into this world and naked I will leave this world – Blessed BE the Name of the Lord!  We pray that You Lord would help us to be “good stewards” of Your Green Pastures and Your Still Waters. Show us how NOT TO WASTE any of Your Natural Resources. Remind us once again Lord that You were in the boat asleep with Your Disciples when a storm arose; they were in panic and even questioned Your concern about their lives. Let us all speak to the storms that are in our lives and say without doubts and total confidence – PEACE, BE STILL!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  Mark 4:35-41

On the same day, when evening had come, He {Jesus} said to them, "Let us cross over to the other side." Now when they had left the multitude, the disciples took Him along in the boat as He was exhausted, and other little boats were also with Him. And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, breaking over the bow and so that it was already filling with water. But He {Jesus} was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?" Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How is it that you still have no faith?"  And they were overwhelmed by what they just witnessed, and said to one another, "Who can this BE, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"

Ladies and Gentlemen, Jesus says we are going to make it to the other side. We have the promise of God that HE will never leave us, never forsake us, and Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us, that we may dwell in the House of the Lord FOREVER! Amen and Halleluiah!

Some of the people in the world are in a panic! They believe the lies told by people who do not believe that GOD IS!  They are desperate to control the lives of anyone who will believe that “their way” is better and much more important than God’s Way! When we have no faith in God, then we are overwhelmed by the storms of life. The perspective is this – God set into motion what we call the natural order of things. We study the skies and follow the patterns of weather but we think that we know more than God and build houses and businesses right on the fault lines of the earth in California, or right in the path of years of hurricanes in Florida. Then we have the arrogance to blame God for sending hurricane Katrina and killing all those people in gulf coast of the United States. Those people that cried out to God were miraculously saved. Those that didn’t, they died in their unbelief.

IF a 193 nations meeting in Mexico are attempting to reach “ a worldwide agreement on controlling greenhouse gases”, this effort will NOT change GOD, nor HIS Creation, nor HIS Way of doing things. Now should this event turn into a “prayer meeting” and people repent of their wicked ways and “self importance” and seek Almighty God for the solutions, then God will hear from Heaven, forgive our sins and HEAL this LAND which is HIS earth anyway!

Make it so dear Lord, make it so!
