How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise Him!Psalm 147:1

The best song writer of his day, king David, put the words of his heart to a melody and taught them to everyone who would listen. As he walked through the market place, he would sing songs and hymns and spiritual songs that were filled with thanksgivings. We should never be too busy nor feel that it is too late to give thanks and praise to the Lord for who HE IS and what He has already DONE for us.

Heavenly Father, You ARE our Creator, You ARE our Sustainer, You ARE our Confidant and most trusted Friend! Everything about me You Know and yet You still LOVE me!  You have given us so many blessings and yet we have given You so little time.

Create in me a clean heart, Oh God! Renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your Presence, and please Lord, do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the JOY of Your Salvation and uphold and sustain me by Your generous Spirit, Your Mercies, Your Loving Kindness and Your gracious LOVE!   Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is   Psalm 92:1-15

It is good to praise the Lord and make music to Your Name, Oh Most High, to proclaim Your Love in the morning and Your Faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp. For You make me glad by Your marvelous Deeds, Oh Lord; I sing for joy at the works of Your Hands. How great are Your incredible Works, Oh Lord, how profound Your Thoughts! The senseless man does not know, and fools do not understand Your Ways, that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers may flourish for a season, they will be forever destroyed.

But You, Oh Lord, are exalted FOREVER!  Blessed BE the Name of the Lord!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Jesus Christ is the same Yesterday, Today, and Forever! From the rising of the sun, to the going down of the same, we should at all times and in all places – GIVE THANKS!

David got to this place in his life was through prayer, meditation on the scriptures, and walking daily with the assurance, total confidence, and under the anointing on his life from God. David knew how to TRUST in the Lord, God; with ALL HIS HEART!

Remember that king David only knew Messiah as a Promise of God, yet to come. We have the evidence of what Christ Jesus has done for us that we could never ever do for ourselves!

This is the day that the Lord has made, I WILL REJOICE and BE GLAD in it!

You ARE my GOD, and I will Praise You; Oh Lord, MOST HIGH, I will declare Your Goodness and Your Mercies and Your Loving Kindness!  Your LOVE surrounds me everywhere we go!

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for HE IS GOOD! For HIS Mercy endures FOREVER!

Blessed BE the Name of the Lord – He IS MY ROCK, the anchor of my soul!

Oh how I LOVE JESUS!
