Ladies and Gentlemen, every person’s gift that is given is significant!

Since the beginning of recorded time, our gifts that we have given have been considered acceptable when we faithfully and prayerfully give as unto the Lord our God! Whether we give a widow’s mite that Jesus says was significant or the personal wealth of Solomon to build a Temple to Worship the Lord our God as also considered significant. We give from a grateful heart as an act of worship, a token of gratitude for all that we have received from His abundant Blessings in this life!

The LAW given on Mount Sinai required a sacrifice of a first born lamb without spot or blemish. Now God’s GRACE has given all of us His First Born Son, Who was obedient in every detail to Laws of God and then sacrificed His very Life that we might have the GIFT of an Eternal relationship with Him!

Father God, we believe that You gave Your Son into this world, not to condemn us, but that we could receive Your Gift through Christ Jesus our Lord.  We believe that You have given us Your Holy Spirit to empower us to have the same qualities, the same attributes, and the same “gifts of the Spirit” in order for us to become more Christ-like in all that we SAY and in all that we DO for the Kingdom of God here on earth, just as it is in Heaven!  Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  1Corinthians 12:1-13

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant:

Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit.

There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He Wills by His Design and His Purpose.

For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body— whether Jews {believers} or Greeks {non-believers}, whether slaves or free—and have all been made to drink into One Spirit.

Amen and Amen!
