Ladies and Gentlemen, what does it mean for us to be “in Christ”?

Yesterday we read “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.“ 2Corinthians 5:16-21

How do we abide in His Presence? How often do we communicate with the Lord our God about matters that are important to Him? When do we take the time to LISTEN to what God has to say?

It is only through the Power of Prayer that we have a close, personal, intimate relationship with Christ Jesus as Lord of our lives. We are spiritual beings here on earth for a temporary assignment. We have the Promise of Life Eternal and by FAITH we have received a personal commitment from Christ that He IS preparing a place for us in our Father’s House!  Jesus Prays while He was on earth and even now as He is seated at the Right Hand of the Throne of God, ever living to make intercessions for us and for all of mankind which is His Creation!

Heavenly Father, remind us that Prayer must be our FIRST response and not our last resort on ANY matter! Christ Jesus our Lord gave us examples of His Prayers as His Pattern of Prayer was to rise early before dawn to be in the place of prayer to receive His Words from You!  Empower us to BE like Your Son JESUS and pray and commune with You daily!  Amen and Amen!

Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD and the king's house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the LORD and in his own house. Then the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: "I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.

If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves, and PRAY and seek My Face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Now My Eyes will be open and My Ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have chosen and sanctified this House, that My Name may be there forever; and My Eyes and My Heart will be there perpetually."
