Recently, a certain scripture has been on my mind where the apostle Paul writes:

I desire that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting – 1 Timothy 2:8

Let us pray in agreement that God will raise up men who will pray according to the Will of Almighty God!

Heavenly Father, You ARE our Father! We trust You with our whole heart. We pray today that You would move on the hearts of men and lead them to the Place of Prayer. Encourage them to lift up their hands as an expression of total surrender to Your Lordship of our lives. Thank You Lord, for the many women who pray and have been praying for a long time. Father God, send forth Your Holy Spirit to move men everywhere to call upon You in daily prayer.  Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  1Thessalonians 1:1-5

Grace to you and Peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and our Heavenly Father, knowing for certain, beloved brethren, your election {as chosen} by God. For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.

Ladies and Gentlemen, God is NOT anger at us. We are not trying to appease the Holy and Righteous Creator of the Universe with sacrifices and self inflicted wounds for our disobedience to man’s laws. Salvation is FREE GIFT! Have faith that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who came to earth in the form of a man; that He suffered death on the cross for the sins of the whole world; and that God raised Him from death to be seated at the Right Hand of the Throne of God and is every living to make intercessions for us.

Witness the “thief” on the cross; who never went to seminary; the thief never worked in an orphanage; the thief never preached in any synagogue or church; the thief was never baptized in water; and yet Jesus looks the thief in his dying face and says “Today, you will be with Me in Paradise!”

This “thief” believed in his heart that Jesus IS who He says He IS and this thief confessed with his mouth ‘Let him alone, we are getting what we deserve – our just punishment for stealing, but Jesus has done nothing wrong! Remember me Lord, when You come into Your Kingdom’  Luke 23:42-43

A right relationship with Christ Jesus as Lord comes through FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE! When we trust in the Lord with ALL of our heart, we will want to spend time with Jesus in a common union. Our communion with Christ is in times of prayer. Removing all distractions, usually in the early morning quite times, before dawn, spend time talking and listening to Him. You may want to follow the prayer outline that Jesus taught His disciples and read out loud Matthew 6:5-16

Meditate on the Words that Jesus spoke and say them out loud, write them done as personally addressed to you. Put your name in the pronouns and pray in exactly the same manner that Jesus prays.

Amen and Amen!
