We sometimes sing – It is a good thing to give THANKS unto the Lord!

With all of the problems and crisis that we face as individuals and as a nation we still have much to Thank God for each day. So let us pause and give Him Thanks for all that He has already done!

Heavenly Father, we Thank You for answered prayers! We have witnessed the “open windows of Heaven and poured out blessings that there is not room enough to receive them”. (Malachi 3:10)

Lord Jesus, we do not deserve Your Great Grace and Free Gifts.  Your Righteousness has covered a multitude of our sins. Your Obedience has given all of us Faith, Hope and LOVE, AND has given us a right relationship with God our Heavenly Father.

Thank You Lord, for Your Mercies that are new every morning!

Thank You Lord, for Your Love for us and for all mankind!

Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is  1Thessalonians 1:2-6

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father, knowing, beloved brethren, your election {being chosen} by God. For our gospel did not come to you in Word only, but also in Power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake. And you became followers of us and of the Lord, having received the Word in much affliction, with Joy of the Holy Spirit, so that you became examples to all who believe.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have witnessed such an outpouring of God’s Grace and His Compassion for the people of Haiti that there is no room on the airport tarmac or runway to receive any more goods and services. The rush of medical supplies, food, water, shelters, and the people to distribute to the needs of 3 million people is overwhelming. No “telethon” or programmed appeal could have sent more than a $100 million dollars to the people of this island nation of Haiti.

The missionaries and church groups for years have tried to bring attention to the situations in Haiti and have done their best to prepare the people to believe God and to trust in Him. Now people from all over this world are focused and moved with compassion to give the much need resources to the devastation that is in this island nation. Yes, they have suffered a great tragedy and tremendous lose.

We must always remember what Jesus suffered by His death on the cross to provide to all of us - Redemption!

Thanks be to God, who give us the Victory, through our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus!

Amen and Amen!
