A Judge in the state of Arkansas recently ruled that “atheists” had a right to erect a display depicting their beliefs on the capitol grounds. Christians should rejoice in this opportunity to clearly depict the contrast between our Faith which gives hope and atheistic concepts which only questions and has no answers.   Atheism is based on a false idea that there is no God, which has never been proven by anyone. Just because you may say, “I don’t believe there is a God” does not make that a fact of life.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for all the “evidence” we have of Your existence. Those of us who know You, believe in You can say without any hesitation    YES, There is a Lord God Almighty!

All of creation proclaims Your marvelous works, Your Light, Your Truth, and Your very Life surrounds us each and every day. Thank You Lord for our creation, our preservation, and all the Blessings of this wonderful life!  Amen and Amen!

The scriptural reference for Today’s Prayer Alert is    1Corinthians 2:9-12

But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him (Isaiah 64:4)."  But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit Who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we all have a “free will” choice to make; Believe God IS and trust in Him with all of your heart, all of your soul, and all of your strength. The alternative is to believe that God IS NOT and try to work out and sustain your life by your own limited resources, or by your own way of thinking. You may give your very best efforts to participate in this realm of reality that has several consequences for every one of your actions. There will always be a reaction to your choice.

Christians, please read this very carefully – Those of us who believe that God IS also know that God CAN!  All things are possible for God TO DO! We must get into agreement with God’s Purpose, God’s Plans, and God’s Ways of doing things and we PRAY that GOD WILL establish His Kingdom on earth, just as it is in Heaven!

We as believers must never coerce, convict, nor condemn ANYONE who may say “There is no God”. Jesus says that we are to be “salt” and “light” to a world of darkness. This does NOT mean we are to force our beliefs on anyone! Our personal relationship with Jesus is very precious to us. We naturally want to express with love, “look what the Lord has done” in my life. Whenever we as Christians are giving non-believers our reasons for the choices that we have made to believe in Christ and to trust God, we should always say our words just as if Jesus, Himself is standing next to us. We are presenting our very best friend to a person who may not have any firsthand knowledge of Who Jesus is or what He represents. During these Divine Appointments, we must always Trust the Holy Spirit and test the spirits and make certain that the spirit of these conversations are “Christ-like” in every word and deed.

Amen and Amen!
