Ladies and Gentlemen, we are about to enter a new year as we mark time on our calendar. As we clear all the wrapping papers from the gifts and finish the leftovers from the family meals we seem to have a corporate curiosity about the future.
There remains therefore a rest for the people of God!
For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Dear ones, we need to take some TIME and sit and meditate on The Words of Jesus. We should read the RED part of our Bibles and pray that The Holy Spirit will show us what we need to know about His Plans for our future.
Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word that we will guided into ALL TRUTH, because You will not speak of Your own authority, but whatever You hear from The Father, You will tell us things to come. John 16:13
LORD, help us to be still from our busyness as we REST and take the time to feast upon Your Word and feed the Spirit that lives inside of me!
