Ladies and Gentlemen, the words that we speak will create an atmosphere around us that will allow “good” and “evil” to prevail in our lives.

Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way. The tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.

People can tame all kinds of animals, birds, reptiles, and fish, but no one can tame the tongue. It is restless and evil, full of deadly poison. Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. So, blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!

James 3:2-10

Dear ones, when we are provoked – what should be our response?

If we return evil for evil, then we are entrapped in a fight that will have no winners.

When Adam & Eve took the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they fell from God’s perfect relationship and broke up the first family. They “blamed” each other and then “blamed” God for what they brought on themselves. Genesis 3:1-ff

God did not curse mankind. God only recited the curses that they brought on themselves by their selfish self-centered pride!

Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word in Romans 5:1

Therefore, having been justified by Faith, we have Peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by Faith into this Grace in which we stand, and rejoice in Hope of the Glory of God. Now hope does not disappoint, because the Love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

But God demonstrates His own LOVE toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His Life. And not only that, but we also Rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received this Divine Reconciliation!

I’ve been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb!

Amen and Amen!
