Ladies and Gentlemen, on Fridays we pause again to give THANKS and PRAISE to the Lord our God!
The Apostle Paul wrote to the people of his day using the examples of what they knew to be true:
We are the children of the living God and we are led by the Spirit of God!
We will NOT be shipwrecked! Christ Jesus is the Captain of our soul. We will never be lost with Him at the helm to lead, guide and direct our lives. We are saved and we are safe in His Hands.
As we pass through storms, He is in the boat with us!
One Word from Him can calm the seas and cause the waves to cease.
He is the ROCK of my Salvation; His is my Sword and His is my Shield!
Paul’s statement of FAITH as written in the eighth chapter of Romans reads:
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the Love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39
