Ladies and Gentlemen, how do we as followers of Christ, resolve the ownership issues of today?

Who do I belong to? In what tribe do I participate with others? Who’s DNA is flowing through my veins? What is my inheritance as a Child of God Almighty?

David wrote Psalm 23 about a very close personal relationship with God as a ‘Good Shepherd’. The very next Psalm addresses the OWNERSHIP of us and ALL of Creation:

God created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in it, God claims this World and all the people who live on it. He built it on Ocean foundations, and He laid it out on River girders (support systems). Who can climb Mount God? Who can scale to the Holy or sacred place in His Presence? Only the clean-handed, only the pure-hearted; Men who won't cheat, and Women who won't seduce. God is at their side; and with God's help they make it. This, Jacob (Nation of Israel), is what happens to God-seekers, God-questers. (Those people who seek first and foremost the Kingdom of God and His Right-way-of-living [Matthew 6:33]).

Wake up, you sleepyhead city! Wake up and come ALIVE, you sleepyhead people!

THE King-Glory is ready to enter. Who is this King-Glory? God-Jehovah, armed and battle-ready.

Wake up, you sleepyhead city! Wake up and come ALIVE, you sleepyhead people!

King-Glory is ready to enter. Who is this King-Glory? God-Jehovah of the Angel-Armies: HE IS THE King-Glory!

Psalm 24 in the Message Bible    Psalm 24:1-10

As Christian workplace believers, God calls us to view Him as the OWNER of everything. We are to be His Stewards of all that He entrusts us to do His Way. This is one of the hardest of all commandments to follow as a Christian believer because, if we work hard at business, we receive all the benefits of that work. It appears as though all that we have achieved was through our hand.

Yet God says that it is by His Hand that we are able to create real wealth (see Deuteronomy 8). He is the source of that ability. As soon as we become a self-proclaimed owners and not managers, we fall into trouble with our relationships with God our Heavenly Father.

Father-God, we THANK YOU for Your Word that says we are CO-HEIRS with Christ! Romans 8:16-21   We believe that You will provide for us the same Grace, the same Mercies, and the same TRUTH that You have given to Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Lord, look upon my heart TODAY and help me answer the question – AM I living as a Steward of all that You have given me TO DO, or AM I trying to take ownership of some things that do not belong to me?

My LIFE and my times are in Your Hands, Oh Lord most high!

Amen and Amen!
