Ladies and Gentlemen, the Bible admonishes us to GET WISDOM & UNDERSTANDING!
There are 51 exact phrases in the Bible that link our comprehension of God’s Wisdom and man’s understandings to what Almighty God-Jehovah has made of His Creation.
My mouth shall speak wisdom, and the meditation of my heart shall give understanding.
To know wisdom and instruction, and to perceive the words of understanding. To receive the instruction of wisdom, is justice, judgment, and equity.
My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding , if you cry out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding; Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the Knowledge of God. It has been said many times and in many ways that king Solomon was the wisest and richest man that has ever lived on earth. His encounter with Almighty God is recorded in the Bible – 1Kings 3
At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said,
Ask! What shall I give you?
Solomon says in reply - Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?
Imagine that you are sitting at your kitchen table and JESUS is sitting beside you. He asks:
What is it that you need most from Me?
How would you respond to Christ’s request?
Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, Your Word tells us to ASK and we will be given the desire of our hearts. I want the desire of my heart to be the same as the Desire of Your Heart for PEOPLE to know You and to Love You and to seek FIRST the Kingdom of God and Your Right Relationship with each of us.
