Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a true “humanitarian crisis” in our country!

Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforting her, when they saw that Mary rose up quickly and went out, followed her, saying, “She is going to the tomb to weep there.”

Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”

Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the Spirit and was troubled. And He said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to Him, “Lord, come and see.”

Jesus wept.

Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!”

And some of them said, “Could not this Man, who opened the eyes of the blind, also have kept this man from dying?”

Then Jesus, again groaning in Himself, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay against it. Jesus said,

Take away the stone.

Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”

Jesus said to her,

Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the Glory of God?

Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said,

Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.

Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice,

Lazarus, come forth!

And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them,

Loose him and let him go!

Then many of the Jews who had come to Mary, and had seen the things Jesus did, believed in Him. But some of them went away to the Pharisees and told them the things Jesus did.

John 11:31-46

.

Dear ones, we have this choice to Believe Jesus or NOT to believe Jesus!

Some of the people in the northern islands of the Bahamas may be asking the same things as the family members of Mary and Martha – Jesus, why didn’t You stop the deaths of this hurricane?  Jesus hates death even more than any of us despises this separation from one another.

Imagine the Creator of the Universe being moved with compassion and actually “weeping” with Lazarus’s family members.  Jesus wept – is the shortest verse in the Bible!  Yet this shows the humanity of Christ who has already conquered death and the grave by His Resurrection!  We should be counting the numbers of people who were SAVED from the destruction of hurricane Dorian. These people who are THANKING the LORD our God and giving Him the Praise Honor & Glory due His Name for the Miracle of Life!

Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word in Luke 7:22-23

Go and tell EVERYONE the things you have seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor (in spirit) have the Gospel preached to them. And Blessed is he who is not offended because of Me.

.

LORD JESUS, we PRAY that the survivors of hurricane Dorian will put their Faith their HOPE and their TRUST in You to completely RESTORE that which was lost by the destruction of this storm.

Amen and Amen!
