Ladies and Gentlemen, WHY do we PRAY?
Likewise, you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for
“God resists the proud, but He gives Grace to the humble.” Proverbs 3:34
Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty Hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Resist him-the devil, being steadfast in the Faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

Dear ones, because when we PRAY, we acknowledge our total dependency upon our GOD-Jehovah. It is The LORD our God that gives us His Power through the Authority of His Name. Apart from my relationship with Jesus, I can do no good thing (nothing).
However, I can DO all things through Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior! Philippians 4:13
As soon as we are confronted by circumstances, events, or relationships, we must PRAY – Lord, I need Your Wisdom on this matter and how to respond to this . . . .
Prayer must be our First Response and not our last resort on any matter!
Holy Spirit of TRUTH, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word in 1Peter 5:5-9 that we would cast ALL of cares and concerns upon JESUS, because we know that He cares so very much about our lives that He has created.
We are to RESIST the devil. We are to take a STAND and having done all we can do to STAND with the whole armor of GOD protecting us, proclaiming The Truth of His Word:
The devil is LIAR! He is the father of all lies, deceptions, deceits, discords, doubts and fears. My LORD and Savior has already conquered and defeated Satan and his minions of demons by His Blood Atonement Sacrifice on the Cross!
Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him-the devil and be strong in your Faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are. Stand firm in this His Grace!
