Ladies and Gentlemen, have you considered the Power of Prayer?
You and one other person should be praying in agreement for at least 15 minutes each day.
Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.
Again, I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven.
For where two or three are gathered together in My Name, I AM there in the midst of them.
According to Pastor Jimmy Evans of Gateway Church in Texas, there are SEVEN elements to the pattern of prayer we find in the outline at Jesus gave us in Matthew the sixth chapter:
Our attitude of PRAYER is giving THANKS, this is our highest PRAISE and our best WORSHIP! According to the teachings of JESUS, when we pray in this manner we:
#1 – Direct Address = Our Heavenly Father, not Buddha, not Allah, not the man upstairs.
#2 – Surrender to His Authority = His Kingdom and His RULE over every part of my life. We are His Creation!
#3 – Seeking His Provision = God always Blesses what He possess! I AM a CHILD of GOD! His very DNA is flowing through my veins.
#4 – Forgiving of Debts = We must freely GIVE, expecting nothing in return. FREELY we have received. We can never repay our debts that Jesus Christ has already PAID in FULL. By His GRACE we have been saved and this is a GIFT.
#5 – Receive His Supernatural Protection and Direction = The devil only comes to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus came that we might have LIFE more abundantly. We have the Spirit of Truth and the devil is a LIAR and he, the devil has been a liar from the beginning.
#6 – Acknowledge the Power of His Divine Right! = Lord, I serve in Your Kingdom. I do not seek my glory because I want to only do what is pleasing in Your Sight. To GOD-Jehovah be the Glory now and Forever! Matthew 22:36-40
#7 – AMEN! = YES, let it be so! My declaration of FAITH that He will answer all my prayers!
The Power of Prayer is in the fact that HE, GOD-JEHOVAH WILL DO IT!
But you, when you pray, go into your inner room; and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, shall reward you.
And when you are praying, do not babble on and on like the pagans; for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.
Therefore, pray in this way:
Our Father in Heaven, sanctified be Your Name.
Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
Yours is the Kingdom, Yours is the Power, and Yours is the Glory
