Ladies and Gentlemen, how often do we pray over our children and our grandchildren?

One day some parents brought their children to Jesus so He could touch and Bless them. But the disciples scolded the parents for bothering Him.

When Jesus saw what was happening, He was angry with His disciples. He said to them,

Let the children come to Me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. I tell you the Truth, anyone who doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it.

Then He took the children in His Arms and placed His Hands on their heads and He Blessed them.

Mark 10:13-6

This is the attitude towards all of God’s Children we should have as believers. Most children have this unconditional Faith that is compelled to seek out Goodness, and Mercy and Truth.  Most children have no “filters” that can discolor their genuine affections.

Holy Spirit of the Living LORD, we PRAY in agreement with Your Word that we as parents would bring our children and our grandchildren to Faith in Christ that He would Bless them. At every opportunity, we should speak to our families, both young and old about Jesus as Lord of our lives.

LORD, help us to shows them exactly what Jesus is like by taking them in our arms and speaking a Blessing over their lives – TODAY!

Amen and Amen!
