Ladies and Gentlemen, WE are about to celebrate the Resurrection of Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior!

It is a commonly held belief that it was on a Thursday night that Jesus shared His final meal with His Disciples in an upper room that had been prepared for them.

Christ has given us an outward visible sign of His inward Spiritual Grace!

Here is what the scriptures tell us about this Holy Communion / Passover meal:

For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said,

Take, eat; this is My Body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.

In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying,

This cup is the new covenant in My Blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.

For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the Bread {of Heaven} and drink of the cup {of a solemn covenant}.

1Corinthians 11:23-28

.

Heavenly Father, throughout the centuries, we have celebrated Holy Communion with You!

Thank YOU Lord Jesus for feeding our spirits with Your most precious Gifts!  Just as the Passover meal reminds the Jewish people of their deliverance for slavery and bondage, Your Holy Communion reminds us of our never ending spiritual connection with our Lord and Savior – Christ Jesus – God’s ONLY Begotten Son, who has REDEEM our souls with His own precious Blood sacrifice.

We have remembered Your death, Your burial, and Your Resurrection Power as we gather together in houses of WORSHIP all over this world.  We believe that millions upon millions of people will congregate in churches, synagogues, temples, tents, and open-air stadiums with ONE HEART – ONE MIND – ONE PURPOSE as believers in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior!

Christ has died, Christ has RISEN, therefore let us keep the Feast!

Amen and Amen!
